Hello! My name is Bridget. I am a registered massage therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and I am very excited to be joining Trillium Family Chiropractic.

I always had an interest in natural healing and in helping others one-to-one. I completed the massage therapy program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. From there, I began my career working in a spa setting. With this background, I bring a quiet, calming approach to my treatments. My style is a slow, flowing Swedish technique. This does not create a deep tissue massage, but rather a pressure that the tissues can comfortably receive. I can also incorporate Aromatherapy into my treatments to further rejuvenate the mind and body. I have additional training in a prenatal massage and experience in treating a variety of conditions. Whether it’s upper body tension or headaches, limited mobility or pain from scar adhesions or if you want to simply relax and reduce stress, I am happy to help.

Currently, I am advancing my massage knowledge to offer therapeutic breast massage for clients during all of life’s stages, but particularly those undergoing mastectomy or other breast/chest surgeries. Massage treatment can help during the recovery phase to reduce pain, recover movement and decrease scar tissue adhesions, among many other benefits. Please watch for this treatment to become available in the fall of 2024. However, if you would like to receive this type of massage in a “practice and learning” session, please reach out to us.

When I’m not doing massage therapy, I love to hang out with my husband, two young sons and our cattle dog, Millie. You can also find me with a book in hand, reading about every topic under the sun as well as riding my horse, Beau.

I am thrilled to be joining Trillium Family Chiropractic. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your wellness journey.
